Quiz Night

We had a wonderful Quiz Night on Saturday 25th January in the Walwyn Hall in Lambourn, and to celebrate Burns Night most of the questions had a Scottish theme, which proved quite challenging!

We had 8 teams of 6 people, which was a great turn-out and the evening was split into two parts, with a delicious two course meal in between. To mark Burns Night we were very lucky to have a Piper, Henry Lochrane, to pipe in the haggis and Charles Lochrane performed the famous Burns Night Address to a Haggis, and the haggis was then toasted.  Afterwards, the main meal was served, followed by dessert.

There was a geat atmosphere and keen competition between the teams, which resulted in an extremely fun evening which raised just under £1,600.
